New InDesign Update Keeps Crashing

One of our designers has been having the following issues with the latest update for InDesign (v.17.2).

• InDesign keeps crashing. It crashed 3 times yesterday, although she was able to recover her work.
• She could not load a particular font that she has used in the past even though it was active in Suitcase Fusion. She tried:
• uninstalling InDesign v.17.2, restarting her computer and reinstalling
• adding the fonts to her InDesign fonts folder under Applications/Adobe InDesign 2002/Fonts
• adding the fonts to the fonts folder under Library/Application Support/Adobe>Fonts
• adding it to Font Book
• force quitting all adobe processes via the Activity Monitor and renaming the CoreSync folder under Library/Application Support/Adobe

She ended up uninstalling v.17.2 and reinstalled v.17.1 and it so far has resolved all of her issues so at least she is able to work.

Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, what solutions fixed it?

I think, that's a known bug with InDesign 17.2.

The developers are working on a fix.
