I used to be able to have 4 PDFs beinge able to be generated at the same time but i'v now updated to Monterey and now Indesign only lets me generate 1 PDF at a time and the rest goes in to a hold que in the backgound tasks
Why, this makes my work so much slower, is there a setting that fixes this?

Sorry for the late reply its been bussy.
I now use the newest version indesign (18.1) but the previous version had the option to create 4 different PDF files at once
In the window "background tasks" there wil now form a line/queue with al the files I want a PDF from (we make large one page PDF files for printing on large format) on the old version there were 4 files that were being produced at once (having a progress bar) but now there is only one file in the list that is being procesed, making the whole proces slower.
I export them local
The problem is not in the making of the PDF, that works fine but in the fact that it now only works one at a time where on the old version it was 4 at once that made progress
This changed when I updated my OS so I dont know if that has anything to do with it but its strange that an OS would change how a program works
