No options to 'edit with' on Indesign

Hello,

I been checking and reading to see if i can resolve an issue that i have.

I have a PC where i work across illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop. However, on Indesign, when i click the edit bar, then 'Edit with', 'other' shows up but is greyed out and doesnt let me click on it. So, I don't have any editing options. How can i fix this please to edit across softwares?

You need to provide more information. Please tell us what operating system (exactly) you're running. Please tell us (exactly) what InDesign version you're using.

 

What type of file (exactly) is selected to be edited when you choose Edit With. Which program do you want to choose to do the editing?

Win 10, Indesign 16.1, Photoshop 2021 - "edit with" is all greyed out.
