Non latin Noto fonts

I try to select the non Latin Noto fonts (like Noto Sans Myanmar) in InDesign (or Illustrator). 
But in the Text-panel it jumps back to the Minion.
How can I use non Latin Noto fonts in Adobe?

Can you select the fonts for a paragraph style?

You could try copying the font files and pasting them into the private InDesign/fonts folder. They'll only be available to InDesign.

You're going to need to supply more information. What version of InDesign? What operating system? What format is the font? Does it show up in the font dropdown when trying to select it? Can we see some screenshots?

Sonoma 14.2.1 and InDesign 9.1 and the fonts are the standard Noto fonts in .ttf format

It is a strange work-around, but it works @BobLevine !

Also in Illustrator. Thanks alot. I'm busy to collect all kind of scripts ot the world. This one helps me alot
