Numbering order

Figure 1. is on page fifty and Figure 10 is on page two. How to fix numbering order?

A large document has been reshuffeled and edited many times and the placing order of text frames with Numbering Syles is not following page order. 
Is there a way to do clean it up without manually 'paste in place' every 200 text boxes on 200+ pages?
