Object size and text box size won't change

Hi!

Could anyone help me with this problem? Yesterday, my Indesign changed, making it impossible to work with. I cannot click on the square boxes of any object anymore (to resize); my cursor just 'flies' over it, and I can only rotate the object/textbox. My cursor is also tripping over the sizes of the document.

I tried it with new documents, tried different cursors, and erased the app and downloaded it again; the last one did the trick for just a few minutes.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Have you tried resetting the preferences? If not, please try following the steps shared here and let us know how it goes.
