Hi All,
I'm struggling with trying to apply an Object style to define Anchored Object characteristics (without messing up other styles). I've added a help doc and a screenshare video.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @CKDestef ,
what you are doing is to apply an object style to a group of anchored objects.
That could lead to trouble. Especially when you are using effects like drop shadows inside the group.
The way out would be to have no group of objects that you will anchor.
Try the following, not tested much, but should work:
Create a graphic frame and paste inside the group of objects you like to anchor.
Anchor the graphic frame with the group inside. Make room so that the drop shadow of the group

Anchor the graphic frame with the group inside. Make room so that the drop shadow of the group can be seen.
Apply your custom object style Threaded Table Options to the graphic frame that contains the group.
Adjust the anchored object settings because you needed more space to show the drop shadow of the group inside the anchored graphic frame.

Additionally:
It could help to anchor the graphic frame with the paste inside group of objects to an InDesign table cell.
But I do not see the whole picture with your supplied InDesign document.
Do you like to run text before and after the anchored object?
If yes, please provide a more complete sample.
