Is there an easy way to omit a paragraph style (or styles) from search text/GREP?

I have many paragraph styles, but one contains many valid instances (for that particular content) of something (double spaces) of something I otherwise want to eradicate.

You either run Find&Change - Text or GREP - on all - whole text - or only on one selected - or a pair of Char + Para Styles.

You can't exclude or include some.

But you can do batch replacements - either using a very basic Find Change by List script included with InDesign - or using external tools.
