Only white Icons since now!

Good morning,
since today's update to 17.1 my InDesign icons are missing. There are only white sheets to see. I have restarted and also looked in the registry for the necessary entries. Everything is correct.

I am really sorry for the trouble @Lummerland1956. I can understand your frustration. I would like to know if you have tried the install & uninstall steps as suggested above?

 

If that didn't help, I would request you and others to please try the following steps:

  1. Try to change the association to any other app and then revert to InDesign.
  2. Uninstall current & any old version of InDesign and install the previous version 16.4.1 and then update to the latest version 17.1.

My suggestion is to get used to waiting for something like this to get fixed. It's certainly nothing critical and eventually someone will figure it out...maybe.

Anshul,

as far as I can tell the problem is not file association, but rather a missing icon. The files correctly associate with ID, they just don't have an ID icon.
