Opacity changes when moving object

On a windows 10 machine running indesign 16.2.1, when you move an object, the opacity of the object goes to 100%, but when you finish the move the opacity goes back to the original level.  Is there a way to keep the opacity level when moving an object?

Also, it's possible your system just can't keep up with the resources that InDesign needs for preview.
