Hello,

I'm trying to follow a LinkedIn Learning video and the instructor keeps referring to this area in InDesign (the application menu?) where these options are located. There's a button for zooming, a rocketship, and a few others options. Please see the image attached.

I don't have any of these in my InDesign. Is this a workspace issue? A version difference? Could it be the difference between a Mac and PC?

I'm having trouble following the LinkedIn video because I do not have these options in my InDesign. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The application bar was part of older versions of InDesign and is no longer part of the interface. All of the commands are still available, however.

From L-R:

  • Open Bridge from the CC Desktop app
  • Open Stock with this link: stock.adobe.com
  • The Zoom menu is visible in the lower left corner of InDesign
  • You can display the Rulers with View > Rulers
  • You can arrange documents using Window > Arrange
  • You can access the rocketship command using InDesign > Preferences > GPU Performance.

Or, just find a more current version of that title.
