New iMAC with os Monterey with Intel core and it won't accept Creative Suite 6 despite both being 64 bit. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks was the last OS that would work with CS6.

CS6 will actually work up to Mojave.
You're out of luck. It will not work.
