Outline all fonts

I'm using the font 'Sabon' and InDesign won't let me embed it into a PDF when exporting, so I therefore have to outline it before exporting.

This is a real pain with larger documents as I have to go onto each individual page and outline the fonts.

I've seen other threads on here mentioning transparency flattenning, and outlining text in Acrobat, but neither of those work around the issue of InDesign preventing me from exporting the PDF properly.

Is there a way around this?

Outlining fonts in InDesign should never be done for production purposes, as you get a lot of problems. The flatten-transparency-path does today in most cases not work.

You have 2 posiblities:

  1. Buy a font license which allows embedding or
  2. Open the PDF on the same computer, asure that Acrobat is allowed to use that font. In Preflight in the 2015 presets is found a command to outline all text. I would recommend to do this.

What version of Sabon are you using? It should be available as an embeddable font that you can activate through Adobe Fonts.
