Page transitions issue from InDesign to PDF

Has anyone had any luck getting any page transitions to work from InDesign to interactive PDF? The feature used to work great but then a program update killed it. I have been trying for years to find a solution, but still nothing. Tech support has run the usual routine of resetting preferences and trying a new doc, but the same result...nothing. Is there a solution out there?

Setting transitions in InDesign does not work and setting them in Acrobat does not work.

Using current version of Acrobat Pro. But have tried to get transitions to work through many versions of both InDesign and Acrobat Pro. Not sure what you mean by your second question.

There are many types of transitions. Not all are PDF compatible. Which one did you choose?

I used fade routinely in the past many years ago. Once it stopped working, I have tested fade and a few others and have not been able to get any to work. I have not tested all. Even trying the transitions within Acrobat full screen mode do not work on a document with no transitions set in InDesign.

I created a transition test from ID and also applied transitions within Acrobat, and no luck with any of the transitions.

Page transitions do not work in the Mac version of Acrobat. This is an old bug that has still not been fixed.

That is what I assumed, but thought I would try once more just in case. If I recall, was a Mac OS upgrade that started the problem.
