Paragraph style options and other dialog box sizes

Can you PLEASE give us the ability to RESIZE these boxes? Unbelievable it covers so much screen space without the ability to shrink them. There is so much empty space on this. Same with the Panels column...  The ability to have a responsive size is something thats been around forever on computers. Lets get into the 90s here please!

Open menu InDesign >> Preferences >> "User Interface Scaling".

Choose the smallest scale and restart InDesign.

Given nowadays large high resolution cheap screens, others - especially old eyes from the 90s when a 20" CRT was exceptional - actually may apreciate the default scaling factor of 1.5, comparing to the original 1.0 scaling which was the only choice until few years ago.

There is also a preference "Interface" where you can uncheck "Large Tabs" to reclaim more screen space in the title bars of sub-windows.

When you open the Uservoice request, consider that this dialog is sized to accomodate the largest of the "selectable dialogs" - the outer dialog does not resize. So the culprit would be "Paragraph Border", a more recent addition. For comparison see the far smaller total size of older selectable dialogs where they aren't automatically stretched to fill the width - as also used in the Character style options with its fewer selectable dialogs.

Agreed! Too bad its that clunky. There are resizable flyout panels but not all of them.
