Pasting a hyperlink to in design

Hello I am trying to paste this text with a [download] hyperlink from Google Docs to in design. The link does not paste.

Is there a way to be able to do this quick?

Save the Google Doc as a Word document. Open it in Word and resave it to avoid issues with fake Word document and then use the file place command to bring the text in.
