Good evening!
I'm creating a printable X-1a PDF from Indesign, and some links work and some don't.
The links are validated in indesign, but I can't get them all to work.
I can't generate an interactive file in that case.
All PDF-X-Standards are PDFs for Print. Those standards don't allow interactivity per definition. You have to choose a different PDF definition to ger interactive links.

Hi @simone25222761ptkl ,
We're so sorry to hear about the trouble. Please try the suggestions shared here https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/adobe-indesign-hyperlinks-don-t-open-for-all-in-... and let us know if this helps or if you need any further assistance.

Thanks for the reply, Willi.
In that case, why do only links on one line work, and those that break on two lines don't?

It really doesn't matter if some of it works. It's absolutely the wrong thing for an online PDF. If you also need a print PDF to send to a print shop then make two PDFs. If you are delivering a PDF for end users to print do NOT use PDF/X, it's not for personal printing.

Acrobat can detect single line URLs out from text, even if they are not PDF links.

That is a known Acrobat glitch.

I'm not sure I'd call that a glitch so much as a limitation.

It depends on if there is a hyphen at the end of the first line is my experience...
