This question has been asked before but I really am not finding a satisfactory solution.
I recently reinstalled windows, new install and since then photoshop is not listed in indesign as an option for editing jpgs.
Yes I can associate JPG files in explorer to open with photoshop, but I dont want this. Photoshop takes ages to load to just view a file so I have windows photos set for that. If I do set it to PS then yes it shows in indesign, but if I then revert to photos app, it goes away from indesign.
This was not the case in the past, you could associate it from explorer then change it and indesign would remember, not any more.
Is there a satisfactory solution to this, that does not mean I have to permanently have photoshop opening jpgs?
