When I place an AI file into inDesign as advised by adobe customer support because the jpegs I placed of the same graphic art were not as sharp, some of my graphic design elements go missing  Anyone know why this might be?

Thanks for any guidance.

This is before and after placing an AI file into InDesign. In AI, it's normal. In InDesign, it doesn't make sense.

Two things. Make sure High Quality Display is selected for image quality (and that link is OK) and if on a Mac try turning off Video Acceleration.

Thanks, Peter! I did all that with adobe customer support, minus the turning off video acceleration which I can't quickly find how to do on google - I do have a mac.

Unfortunately, nothing worked.

It should be in the Prefs. I have a PC, and it's not an option for me so I'm not sure exactly where to look.

Thanks, Peter! This was the closest I could find to "video acceleration".

That's it. Display performance can be set at the object level as well as the document level. Right click on the graphic to check that...
