Hello, I'm trying to create a pop up window using the interactive button, but the action doesn't seem to work when exporting as adobe interactive pdf. It does, however work when I publish it online. I'm using the latest version Indesign 2020 on a Mac - could this be the problem or am I missing essential? I couldn't find the answer anywhere and I'm also new to indesign.
Thank you!
It can be done with show / hide buttons but it's wonky as hell and probably won't work anywhere but Acrobat or Reader on a desktop.

Thank you for your reply. I create a button and then make it interactive by giving it an action and event. So when I click on the button - a textbox shows, in my case. I was not using a PDF reader, my mac would open the pdf in preview (by default). I just opend it using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and it works! So thank you for asking me about the PDF reader - I wouln't have known this was the mistake. 🙂
