Hello Community!
I am trying to make a file easthetic dashboard, I am trying to have two different buttons on the same place but they are truly on different MSO's (From the same MSO). However it doesnt seem to be working. Any tips?
I want the users to click on FSA Grade 4 button and then they will be dragged to the second image where you see FSA grade 7 info (Ignore the orange hightlight). And then when they click on Grade 4 FSA while being in the Grade 7 one, they can go back to the initial layout.

You have to put those buttons into the state you want it to work with. You can't create an MSO this complicated and expect external buttons to function.

Hello Bob, they are in different state of the same MSO but Im not sure if its because they are positioned in the same place that only one of them works.

These things can get very complicated very quickly. But a button in one state should not interfere with a button in another state. Are you absolutely sure both buttons are in the states AND that you have assigned an action to those buttons.
Be aware that when you copy a button with a go to state action within an MSO that action is lost. That, and a whole host of MSO pain points can be corrected with this free script: Object States Assistant for Adobe InDesign – Automatication

One more thing since I just remembered that I helped you out with this the other day. It will get to a point where you're going to need the layers panel to find and select objects in an MSO so be sure you name them or you'll go crazy trying to locate them.
