Hello
Its first time for me to use embeded images function in indesign, ( I'm always use linked function)
This time I have a situation where I have to place a word document with images into InDesign.
But the images placed in RGB. Is it any chance to convert all to CMYK?
Also is it any chance to have problems with printing embeded images?
Thanks

Leave the images in RGB! If you need to print them in CMYK, convert them with PDF export and never before.
Don#t embed images, link them.
If you have a Word file with embedded images, save it as HTML and Word will sort the image in linked images in the HTML file, and the original images. Those you can use separately.

Thanks A lot,
If I leave the embed image, will there be a problem with the printing process?

Beside them being RGB - no.
But your INDD file will be much bigger and prone to corruption.

I wrote this many years ago and should give you a decent overview of placing Word DOCX files that have images in them: Get the Full Picture With .DOCX | CreativePro Network

One other thing. Do not send that InDesign file to the printer; export a PDF and send that. BTW, if you unembed those images and export the PDF twice, once with the images embedded and once with them linked, the PDFs should be identical.
