Problem typing in InDesign

Hi,

I am working with InDesign 2023 on a book in Presian (Farsi) language. Unfortunately I cannot type the dot "." in it. I gat instead a "%"! So I hva to change the language in German or English any time I need to type a dot. I am working with mac OS Ventura.

I get this problem only with InDesign. I can type "." in other programs as Word correctly.

Please help me.#

Is it the same when you use the virtual keyboard? or using the Glyphs panel?

Check in Edit > keyboard shortcuts if there is a mappring of . for %
