I get word documents filled with this hidden character that looks like blue : after importing doc file into indesign.

Problem is I can select that hidden character and copy/paste it in search, both text (^I) and GREP (~I) but indesign cant find it (cannot find match message).

Any idea how to remove that char from documents?

Hi Damir,

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like a special char you get on empty lines from data merge.

Try searching
