problem with link and update file

hi every body, can you watch the attached video i have a strange thing

 

my file appear with square

if i open without modify the link, all appear ok

if i close, no update, square appear again

if i open again the link, and i modify it, i have just up and down, i save

when i close it will update ,and it will ok

si tu regarde le fond violet, il y a des carré qui apparaissent, c'est un bug parce que il estime que le fichié lié est modifé, sauf que dans la liste des liens, il ne le voit pas comme ça.

 

et si j ouvre le fichier conçerné, tu verra que les carré n'apparaissent pas, mais que l'on voit bien un filligrane de plante (de la lavande)

si je ne touche rien et que je ferme , rien ne change dans le fichier original.

 

par contre si j ouvre le fichier, et que je fais une simple modif, genre deplacer vers le haut et deplacer vers le bas (autant dire rien), et que j enregistre, là il voit bien une modification, et du coup, il va updater le lien, et là, ça va s'afficher correctement.

 

ce genre de probleme m'arrive assez souvent et je ne le comprend pas...

Mais si je vois bien, tu as importé un fichier InDesign dans un autre fichier InDesign, c'est ça ? Jusque là, pas de problème.

Y a-t-il des liens images dans ce fichier InDesign importé ? Qui ne seraient pas à jour ? Ou bien des calques masqués dans le fichier InDesign placé, mais affichés dans le fichier dans lequel il est importé (avec la fonction « options de calques d'objet ») ?

I'm not sure what's happeing, but here's my guess..

The graphic in question is a linked .indd file. The plant images are linked in THAT placed .indd file, and THOSE links are modified, so until you open the li9nked .indd file and update its links you are seeing the gray squares.

plant link are not modified

i do not modify this file since long time, sometime appear normal, sometime appear square, i don t understand why

Are these stored on a network? We see a lot of reports of "unmodified" files on networks showing up as needing uupdates or relinking. My suspicion is it as something to do with some sort of maintenance operation changing a timestamp.
