@Trellat

I've moved your post from Using the Community to the Adobe InDesign forum.

Hi @Trellat,

You're right, the 'Go to Page' action isn’t supported in interactive PDFs from InDesign, which is why it loses interactivity. Moreover, please go through this similar thread on the community here: Solved: Interactive Buttons not working when I export to P... - Adobe Community - 12921283

Solved: 'Go To Page or Section' when creating 'Interactive... - Adobe Community - 15187945

If possible, consider using Publish Online, which fully supports these actions and lets you update easily without redoing buttons. Let me know if that could work for your workflow or if you'd prefer a different solution.

Let me know if you have any further queries.

Muchas gracias!

@Trellat

Can you post a screenshot with your setting for this button?

Or maybe your document is corrupted?

@Trellat

To fix your corrupted document:

1) you can try IDMLing - export as IDML, open, save with a new name - DO NOT overwrite your original file,

or

2) create a new, blank document - best would be if you make it the same page size and with the same margins - then move ALL pages from your document to the beginning of this new document - save it with a new name. More info here

Forget everything else, do not use buttons in an interactive PDF. They are way too unpredictable and likely to not work at all in anything other than Acrobat for a desktop.

Edit: If you're working on an interactive PDF you can make changes in Acrobat and use the replace pages command to update the PDF without damaging the work you've done in Acrobat.
