Latest version of InDesign on Mac. There seems to no longer be a way to resize / scale an image proportionately with the mouse and key combo, only by typing in values. We've tried all key combinations with the mouse.

We can't find any legacy or classic rescaling option in preferences. Is there one? There is no preferences search box in InDesign like Photoshop has now. What are we missing?

Thanks.

It should be working

Try resetting your preferences:
The easiest way to reset everything is to delete the InDesign preferences: as soon as InDesign starts to boot hold down Shift, Alt, Ctrl (and Apple/Cmd if working on a Macintosh). A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.

Should be Cmd + Shift, I believe. YOu might want to try pressing the keys before dragging the mouse.
