Quality reduces when I import a transparent PNG

Hello,

I am doing my resume on InDesign. When I import a transparent PNG pictogram (5 Ko) in high quality, the quality of the text zone of my document reduces immediatly. However, in "View" > "Display performance", it's still supposed to be "high quality". And when I reduce the quality of the transparent pictogram, then the quality of the text zone goes higher.

The problem is not happening when I import a JPG image.

How can I optimize the display of all elements?

Thank a lot!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Do you see this behavior with a specific file? A small video of your workflow would help us understand the issue better and assist you accordingly. Please share version of the OS & InDesign as well. We'll be happy to help.
