A client recently changed to Quicksand, a Google font, for headers but it will not package. They use Open Sans, another Google font, for body copy and it packages not problem.
I use ID CS6.
Thoughts?
Hi Hester,
also possible when packaging the font files does not work for you:
Simply create a folder named Document fonts if it is not there in the packaged folder and copy the font files to that folder.
The InDesign CS6 document that is in the same folder with the Document fonts folder can see and access the font files there.

Maybe the font license for the this one doesn't allow it.
Check the font permissions in the license.

It's an OFL font. When I package a document, it says the filename is missing. Any idea how I can find the filename and add it?

I just did a test file using Quicksand Regular and had no problem packaging it from CS6 on Win7.
Try resetting your prefs, or even just rebooting and restarting ID.
