"Bilder kopieren nach..."

Community Beginner ,

Hello @mmgdde,

Thank you for highlighting this issue. To proceed with our investigation, could you please specify the version of InDesign and the operating system you are currently using? Furthermore, it would be beneficial if you could share a short screen recording that demonstrates the complete process from image selection to the point where the error arises, as this will help me comprehend the situation on your end, reproduce the issue more effectively, and address it further.

I eagerly await your reply.

Abhishek

Dear Abhishek,

The problem is caused by the use of special characters in the file names of the Adobe Stock images. I have attached screenshots showing the process. Images that do not contain special characters cannot be copied to another folder. Actually, the use of special characters should not be allowed when providing images to Adobe Stock, or InDesign should rename them automatically.
This error is particularly annoying when you want to copy several images at once and the error message does not indicate which images are causing the copying to fail. See screenshots 006 and 007 attached. As I work with many images in the travel catalogue, it would be great if this problem could be solved.

I have encountered this problem in recent years on different computers with different versions of InDesign. The current version is attached as a screenshot. The current computer is a Surface Laptop Studio 2.

Many thanks in advance.

Hello @mmgdde,

Thanks for confirming. I tried replicating this behavior on my end, but could not. Could you please share a link to a stock file and a small screen recording of your exact workflow when you encounter this problem, so we can review it with the team?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Anubhav
