"Break Text Threads" Script No Longer Works at All

The "Break Text Threads" script that ships with InDesign is no longer working for me at all. After executing it, nothing happens.

I tried a brand new document and resetting preferences—no changes. Anyone else having this issue?

What operating system are you using? If you're on a Mac and have recently updated to Tahoe then that could be the problem. I've seen reports of InDesign scripts not working after installing Tahoe.

Thanks, @Bill Silbert. I'm on a Mac, but haven't updated to Tahoe. macOS 15.7.1

@jackbrannen_pl I seem to recall that there are 2 such scripts; one that removes links to all threads of a document and one that only does it for the currently selected story. IIRC the former script failed to work for me recently, but the latter still worked (as long as your cursor is positioned inside a story. That script is the one in the JavaScript subfolder (SplitStory.jsx).

@Olivier Beltrami There are indeed some other simpler versions of the script that work properly for me.
