"In Data" missing?

Hello.

At my workplace, I would use InDesign, and import a CSV file from the top.  There was a dropdown that said "In Data".  Anyway, now I'm working at home, and when I downloaded InDesign, that was missing.  I tried looking at some older versions, but I still couldn't find it.  My boss may be wrong, but he said that I need to use the same version of InDesign as we had in the office, but nobody seems to know what version that was.  Does anyone know what version has "In Data" at the top, and where I can find a download link for it?  I tried going to Window > Utilities > Data Merge in other versions, but just got an error message that the selected data source has one or more empty field names.  I tried other files that should've been OK, but got the same message.  Thanks for any help.

Are you sure you weren't using a plugin?

Thank you.  I figured it out.  Well, actually, one of my workmates did.  Yes, I think it was a plugin, whatever that means.  We downloaded an old version of InDesign and something else (the plugin?), and it worked.
