How do I remove template name (News Magazine) from In Design pages?

You appear to be using the News Magazine template which comes with InDesign.

 

View the Layers panel ( Window > Layers ). Open the Text Layer

Make sure you're in Normal Mode (View > Screen Mode > Normal)

Choose the Selection (black arrow) tool, and click on the the words "NEWS MAGAZINE" and they are selected. Open the Layers panel and notice the highlighted text. PRESS THE DELETE KEY.
