I created a data merge with circle image frames that contains images in
Now I want to replace all these cirlce image frames with any other image frame from my choice such as using pen tool or another clipping path without repeating data merge from start
Is there a script or method can do that ?
Pathfinder > Convert to Shape comes to mind, but I don't know how to script that.
Also, if you edit the frame on the master, shouldn't it update on the page? Or do you want to customize each one?
Thanks for your reply Mike
I want to customize shapes from my choice such as heart shape or any other shapes that not found in ( Pathfinder > Convert to Shape )
Set up object styles for the shapes then go through and apply them?
these method not replace the whole shape frame with another shape , I want to change shape frame with another for all pages
Assign an object style to the template circle and use Find Object panel to replace with new style.
I want New Shape not new object syle
Probably will need to run the merge again. Or set up the shapes on different layers, apply the merge to all of them, then toggle layers on/off post merge.
