Hello Community!

I am trying to have a button that goes back to the landing page of my document/pdf which is the first MSO state. However when I try to do it, it goes back to where the animation finished... Does anyone know how to set this up?

1. Initial State / Landing page, when you click on the blue highlight piece (and any of the other below) the animation will start and the button will move up, then it will go to the next state.

2. This is the new state where the buttons are positioned in the same place as the animation from the previous state. From here I want people to click on the red highlited but to go back to the first MSO state.

3. Here is where the proble exists.... it will only go back to where the animation was left on the first state looking cut off. I am not understanding how to reset the animation in the first MSO state.

Hi Damian, it sounds like your animation is outside of the landing page MSO.

I suggest adding it to the MSO in the first state, then set your button actions to start the animation, then go to the second state. When you return to this page, the MSO will be reset to state 1 with the animation reset as well.

Your description of this is very confusing. Without seeing the file it will be very difficult to offer any advice.

Multi-state buttons won't work in Interactive PDFs on tablets and smart phones, stick to simple hyperlinks for links.

This is about MSOs, not buttons.
