I have a grouping of test and images that I need to resize by an exact percentage. How do I make the text and images scale by the same amount with their frames when I enther the percentage in the transform palette?

Hi Jake,

it should work out of the box without doing anything else.

If you want to see the scaling percentages on the group and its contents, go to Preferences > General > When Scaling

[ x ] Adjust Scaling Percentages

Then scale the group.

Then reset the preferences to its default:

Back to Preferences > General > When Scaling

Original point size ( new point size )

Note:

If you want to scale all elements of the group with that text frame and you do NOT want to scale the text:

Select the group with the Direct Selection Tool instead of the Selection Tool.

Hm.

Perhaps you did exactly that when scaling the group did not scaling the text?

Use the Selection Tool instead of the Direct Selection Tool to select the group before scaling.
