Since upgrading to 2024, the rulers at the document edge are enlarged even though the view size is 100%. How do I fix this? I don't think it is a resolution issue as the rulers in Illustrator are accurate.

There are many reasons your screen does not display exact measurements (e.g. one document inch to one measured screen inch). If a line drawn one inch long in a doc measures differently on the app ruler, then there's an issue. But UI scaling can make your display inches vary quite a bit. I think that's what you're seeing here.

Hi Marty:

I'm not seeing this. What operating system are you using?

Note the difference between the ruler in the document and the analog ruler I'm holding up. There is a significant difference, affecting all visual rendering including fonts, etc. I'm using OS Ventura 13.6; haven't upgraded to Sonoma.

Thanks for pointing that out. I adjusted the UI Scaling and now all display correctly.

Also, your ruler on screen was in centimeters, and you were holding up an inches ruler. Perhaps you were doing the conversion in your head so it wasn't an issue but that may have also been a factor. At any rate, glad it is resolved.
