Scaling picture proportional key not working

Working with photograps in a frame I used the shift key to scale the picture proportionally and together with the frame I used shift+command (MAC). After the latest opgrading to 16.2.1 this keys do not funktion like that any more. What an I missing?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. There may be any other app running in the background which is handling the key modifiers. You may restart your machine and just launch InDesign & see if Shift key works. If it does, you may find the culprit by launching other apps one by one.

Additionally, you may try resetting the preferences of the app & let us know how it goes.

Did you ait long enough? I have to hold shoft+command about 3 seconds before selecting the items to scale.

rebooting with indesign running alone solved the problem and it has not come back although many programs are running now.
