Screen & direct print from InDesign looks fine, but PDF floor plan is WHITE linework

I have a floor plan that i made the background transparent of and did color fills below it. It looks just fine on the screen and from the printer but when i make a PDF of it, some of the floor plan (under the color fills) prints WHITE ! and it can barely be read!

This looks like a Transparency issue: How did you make your floor plan transparent?

What PDF viewer are you using? 

Are you using Acrobat?
