Script doesn't consider cell is overflowed when cell insets cause the overflow

Hi,

I have overset text in a table cell that has cell insets but the InDesign script .overflows doesn't consider the cell to be overflowed to give a True value. It is probably because the text will fit in the cell in this instance without the insets. In other instances, .overflows gives a True value when the text doesn't fit even without the insets.

How can I check each cell with cell insets in the table for overflows in this instance?

Thanks.

Hi @Thunder-Lightning ,

please attach a small sample InDesign document so we can test the issue.

Together with a description of the issue for a given cell in that table.

Attach the document when you reply with the forum's editor not in a response via mail.

Without a sample table it's hard to tell what's going on.

What's the version of your InDesign?
