Hi,
Newbie here!
I have a long list of book titles in bold italics (see below). The formatting is always the same:
Number + period + space + Book title + space + text + paragraph break + text.
Each entry is formatted using the same Paragraph Style, so they're fairly easy to pinpoint in the Search Box.
Each entry is in bold italics, but I need to remove the italics from the numbers and the period preceding the Book Title.
A few examples:
1. Title [paragragh break]
Text
2. Title 2 [paragragh break]
Text
35. Title 35, December 1925 [paragragh break]
Text
428. Title 2.1 [paragragh break]
Text
1025. Title 22.2, January 1945 [paragragh break]
Text
1225. Title 10.49 (issue 490), December 7, 1973 [paragragh break]
Text
1333. Title 144, December 13, 1973 [paragragh break]
Text
And I would need this (no italics for the number and period at the beginning of the entry)
1333. Title 144, December 13, 1973 [paragragh break]
Text
Is there any search & replace function that would allow me to remove the number and period italics in each entry?
Thanks!

Create a character style whose attribute is Roman an use a nested style, like below:

Thanks, I will look into it as I have no idea how to use nested sytles. I thought I could use some wildcards to do this, but maybe it's not that easy.

No need to know any wildcards, read the help and have a look to the dropdown menu. You'll see, it's very easy to understand.
