I use a laptop and things are fine. However, when I move my window onto my second (much larger, so I can see) monitor, I can't move objects the same. When I click using the selection tool and attempt to move the object and/or text, the selected object randomly jumps to a location left and down from where my cursor is. If I move the window back to my laptop, it works fine again. Help! This is hard to explain and I'm not super technologically inclined. All I know is I've been using this same laptop and second monitor for over a year and now, all of a sudden, it's decided not to work the same.
That OS build is the Feb. 11th build KB5051987.
Try backing down to the Dec. 10th update (Settings>Windows Update>Update History).
GREAT NEWS! I ran the Windows Program Compatibility troubleshooter and it fixed the issue. Well, that and a whole lotta prayer so maybe I'm not giving proper credit but either way, it's working properly now. Thank you for your efforts in helping.

OS version and InDesign version? (Exact versions please--not just Sequoia OS or Windows 11, and not just InDesign 2025.)
Is the second monitor attached when you start the computer?

Unfortunately, I have no idea how to back down to the Dec. 10th update. I clicked the link and then clicked on the Dec. 10th update but it doesn't have a link to install (or back down) to this version.

Scroll down to the bottom of the update list. You should see an option to uninstall updates. Updates are not kept forever, so it might not be available.

Dave - just curious - does it matter that I only have this problem with InDesign? I opened a word document and created a shape. I can move the shape using my cursor on the 2nd monitor without any problems.

It seems to be an InDesign-only problem as far as these forums are concerned.
