Hello, I am having a lot of problem with the share for review function.
I use it for catalog creation but I only have problems with it.
Indeed, I keep the link regularly and I have to re-invite everyone and I also lose all the corrections requested.
However, I work on it normally, without pluging or anything else installed. I propose my file for review and I continue to work on it and after some corrections, I want to update the link and it offers me to create a new link.
Can you help me ?

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing. Could you please share a few more details like:

  • OS and the exact version of InDesign
  • Is the issue related to a specific document or all?
  • Where are you saving the files (Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System/ External HDD)?
  • Do you save your document after making corrections with Save As to the same file name? If yes, then Share for review will give you to create a new link.
  • Are you using a personal or company Adobe account?

 

Also, I would request you to please visit this website (https://assets.adobe.com/links) and check if you are able to locate you are old share for review documents or not.

Hi Anshul_Saini and thank,

I am working on an IMAC Verion 11.6 and Indesign 16.4. The problem is present on all files. I am working on a corporate server. I always save over it because, in fact, by saving Under, I lose the link with the existing file. If I share again for review, I lose all corrections, it's really not possible. The file is saved well and when I want to update, it offers me to create a new link. I found a solution by closing the file and Indesign, reopening it and I can update the link. It forces me to leave everything. I am using a business account. Thank you
