Share links contain code that apps like Slack auto convert to emojis

My specific example:

I shared InDesign documents for review. When I paste the link in our Slack channel, part of the link :US: changes to the USA flag. I have changed Slack preferences to prevent auto converting typed emoticons and turned off emoji and animations in Accessibility but issue persists. 

 

My solution would be for Adobe to remove any characters like : that trigger emojis or other popular functions in apps like Slack.

Why would Adobe do that??? 

Maybe ask Slack not to convert text in urls or other things to emojis?
