Shearing text without distorting text box?

While skewing text, the text box also gets skewed when I use the shear command. How can I skew the text at my desired angle without distorting the text box at all? I want to keep the text box rectangular.   I am using Indesign CC 2018 . And I want to keep the text all editable, not convert them into outlines at all.

Hi,

that's easy:

Select the text and not the text frame.

Then do Shear ( or skew? - I'm on a German system ) as character formatting.
