Show rulers permanent

Hello,
how can I permanently show the rulers. Every time I open a new document, there are no rulers visible, even though I don't have a check mark in "Hide rulers" for closed documents.

The way it should work (and does for me) is to set Show Rulers when NO DOCUMENT is open. It should look like this:

When you create a new document it should show rulers like this:

If that's not the case, try restoring your InDesign preferences and caches. Here are some directions:

Alles was man standardmäßig sehen oder eingestellt haben will, soll man machen ohne dass ein neues Dokument offen ist. Daher kannst du wie Steve vorschlägt einfach in den Menüs Einstellungen aktivieren die du immer sichtbar haben möchtest. Das selbe gilt für die Indesign Voreinstellungen, weitere Optionen in den Paletten der Menüleiste oder seitlich... Dann ID schließen und neu öffnen!

nun ja, manche Einstellungen sind Einstellungen, die man nicht mit dem Dokument speichern kann, andere schon.
