Show tile cutting marks on screen

Jul 28, 2023 Jul 28, 2023

Is there a way to show/view actual tile cutting marks on the screen document before I print? When a cut falls in the middle of text it is difficult to cut and tile precicely, so if I could see the actual places the cuts will be in my documant I could design it appropriatley so those cuts don't fall across precise areas I cut, like text.

If you are talking about something like many businesses cards on a sheet - then you need to use Ruler Guides - put them on a separate layer at the bottom of the stack - and then lock this layer, so you won't move them accidentally.

Challenging but possible. You might try custom margins and columns and rows augmented with custom guides. It would be like simulating the tile print and the overlap amount. Guides would be in front in preferences.
