Hi there,

I am trying to type the word destination in Baskerville regular and for some reason the s and t are joining together above the letters. Does anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks,

Susanne

@Susanne5E63

You're seeing a common ligature of the s + t characters.

Other common ligatures are f + i,  T + h, f + l

it you don't want InDesign to automatically use ligatures, then uncheck Ligatures from your style's definition in the Basic Character Formats section.

I believe the st ligature is in the OpenType ligature settings.
