Strikethrough text not visible in share for review

It's my first time using Share for Review and the one problem I'm having is that if the reviewer uses the strikethrough text option, I don't see this in my indesign doc. I can see the strikethrough text on the browser version, but not in the native doc. The review comment is in both places, just not what it's referencing.

I recommend reporting this as a bug on the user voice site.

hi,

I have the same problem. I dont see the comments on the spread/pages but can see on the review panel and web browser.

Have you found the solution for this?

Sorry, no and so we've stopped using this review proccess. I did report the bug, but was never told it'd been fixed and since you're having the same issue, I assume it hasn't. Too bad too as I thought it had a lot of possibilities for use.

This is still an ongoing issue which is a shame because when it works it is really nice. Adobe has finally lifted the obnoxious sign in need clients hated and often went to a confusiing document portal rather than direct to the review so that's progress. However,  all the other bugs like strikethough( or even pins sometimes) not showing in document are still there which is pretty surprising considering how little indesign features get added or updated. Do make sure you have "show Annotations" selected in the review window but sometimes this still just doesn't work. Adobe likes to blame corrupt preferences but in my experience resetting preferences is rarely ever actually a solution especially with the review bugs. Another solution that gets suggested is trying other versions but that also seems silly, there's no reason this feature shouldn't be really robust now for as long as it has been out, but it is unfortunately par for the course with adobe.

Hello @rpr,

I tried replicating the problem with a strike-through in one of my documents, but could not. Could you share more details, like whether this behavior is limited to certain documents/features, so I can better assist you?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
