Sudden 5mm Margin and Ghost Page Appearing in InDesign

Community Beginner ,

I am working on a document that is over 80 pages, A4 landscape, multiple sections, multiple layers. I turned of facing pages in doc settings.

I am not sure if I accidentally hit a shortcut or if this is a bug.

Suddenly, there is a gap around 5mm on every page where no content is shown. I can also see a "ghost" page to the right.

Try exporting as .idml, then open that. If the problem is solved, ave as a new .indd file with a new name

Thanks for the quick response, sadly, the issue still persists after trying this method. I tried adding a new screenshot for more context and prof but the uplada failed. I am going to try again later.

You still have 2 parent pages. That white frame looks like it may touch the edge of one page. Delete a parent page and remove the spare border/frame.

Hi @Zesty_speakerB832 , It looks like maybe you started with the doc set up as Fasing Pages and then switched to non facing?

Looks like you have 3 frames on your parent page.

Unlock the red layer (if it's locked).

Double click on A-Parent and delete the frames.

Hi @Zesty_speakerB832,

Just checking in if you were able to resolve the issue after trying the suggestions from the experts and the users or still seeing the gap and ghost page?

Let us know how things are looking on your end so we can assist further if needed.

Abhishek
